Currently Narayana’s home base is in Sonoma County, California where he teaches Swadharma. He prefers to work in small groups or one-on-one. Teaching tends to be very specific to the individual. Thus, each individual brings a unique gift into the teaching arena. Narayana’s diverse background allows him to relate easily to individuals from all walks of life. He grew up traveling the world because his mom was a flight attendant. His dad, a lawyer, is a yogi who lives by the sentiment, “I am nothing and I have nothing,” and is a devoted disciple of a close associate of Mahamuni Babaji.
At the age of 5 and then again at age 13, Narayana received initiation into meditation from his father. Since a young age he has devoted himself completely to the uplifting of consciousness.
On 7-7-2000, the day he arrived in India, he met his beloved Gurudev. After receiving Gurudev’s touch of grace, Gurudev sent him to meet the mysterious Himalayan yogi, Mahavatar Babaji, a.k.a. Mahamuni Babaji. Narayana then let go of all possessions and was guided into the Himalayas alone to receive the blessing of Babaji and the masters. He became a wandering yogi for 5 years in the Himalayas, sometimes walking barefoot through ice fields, living in ice-caves, on mountain tops, in ashrams, temples, mud huts, in the forest, along rivers, and in simple homes where he was hosted by the locals.
Eventually, he was guided by the great masters to begin teaching.
