I know many of you once believed Ammachi to be an Avatar.  It has come to light in recent years that she is also human.  I understand the pain of being let down by a revered Guru.   Just remember, your criticism of her or anyone, creates your own future.

The first time I went to see Ammachi was in Chennai in 2001.

She brought me immediately into her powerful embrace and whispered into my ear,
“Narayana! Narayana! Narayana! My son! My son! My son!”

She then pulled me aside and invited me to sit as close to her as I possibly could. I remained there for several hours, wrapped in her presence, until I finally felt complete. I leaned over and said softly, “Thank you, Ma. I’m going now.”

Ammachi leaned toward me, kissed my third eye, and said, “Come back and see me again.”

On November 26, 2011, Ammachi conducted the wedding ceremony for Narayana Baba and his wife, Gaby, at Amma’s Ashram in California. During the ceremony, twenty-five of Baba’s disciples sat on the stage alongside Ammachi, Narayana, Gaby, and their unborn child. Gaby’s parents had traveled from London to attend, along with twenty of Baba’s students, who also sat on the stage in witness and blessing. At the time of the wedding, Gaby was pregnant with their first daughter, Lalleshwari—and during the ceremony, labor began.

Ammachi rubbed vibhuti (sacred ash) all over Gaby’s pregnant belly and said, with certainty and love, “I’m going to deliver this one.”

After the ceremony concluded, Narayana took Gaby home. A jacuzzi had been placed in the living room in preparation for the birth. While Lalleshwari was still completely within the birth canal, Baba reached in gently to greet his daughter and traced the Bengali Sanskrit symbol of Om upon her crown. Lalleshwari took her first breath at 12:12, just before midnight on November 28.
